Effective July 1, 2026, the Diocese of Gaylord issued a decree designating St. Raphael in Copemish as a limited-use church, meaning the building is no longer a parish church with regular Masses and Devotions but is available only for baptisms, weddings, and funerals. As part of this transition, the church is now united under the care and direction of St. Ann in Frankfort. All administrative inquiries should be directed to St. Ann in Frankfort, Michigan.
